Amanda Kemp spoke to the application from Kapiti Youth Orchestra, for the project Kapiti Youth Orchestra Annual Grande Concert, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Jan Bolwell spoke to the application from Crows Feet Dance Collective, for the project Carmina Burana, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Jan Bolwell spoke to the application from Handstand Productions, for the project Silent Spring, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Louise Waterworth spoke to the application from the Kapiti Women’s Health Collective Centre, for the project “Have a Go” Arts Programme, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Taryn Beri spoke to the application from Toi Tangata, for the project Series: Poetry Taonga puoro, art, and Matariki workshops and exhbition, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Rod Graham spoke to the applications from Otaki Pottery Club for the projects Clay Workshops for Young People and Clay Date – Creating with Clay, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

Valerie Andrews spoke to the application from the Kapiti Ballet Society, for the project Dance Kapiti 2021, and resonded to questions from the Subcommittee.

7.1         CREATIVE COMMUNITIES SCHEME_CONSIDERATON OF APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING ROUND 2, 2020-21

Ms Rosie Salas spoke to the report and answered questions from Subcommittee members, she then circulated highlights of previously-funded projects.

Subcommittee members considered and discussed the applications.

Ms Mary-Jane Duffy left the meeting at 11.28am and returned at 11.29am.

That the Grants Allocation Subcommittee grants Ōtaki School $1,360 from the Creative Communities Scheme to assist with the project Te Pō Kanikani.

 

That the Grants Allocation Subcommittee grants Crows Feet Dance Collective $2,085 from the Creative Communities Scheme to assist with the project Carmina Burana.

 

That the Grants Allocation Subcommittee grants Handstand Productions $2,000 from the Creative Communities Scheme to assist with the project Silent Spring.

 

That the Grants Allocation Subcommittee grants Kapiti Youth Support $2,278 from the Creative Communities Scheme to assist with the project Material & staff costs for the 2021 Kāpiti Arts Trail.

The Subcommittee felt this application had a lower priority than other applications received, given there were limited funds available for distribution.

The Subcommittee felt this application had a lower priority than other applications received, given there were limited funds available for distribution.

The Subcommittee felt this application had a lower priority than other applications received, given there were limited funds available for distribution.

The Subcommittee felt this application had a lower priority than other applications received, given there were limited funds available for distribution.

 

That the Grants Allocation Subcommittee grants Joanne Michelle Hakaraia $2,005 from the Creative Communities Scheme to assist with the project Raukawakawa Project.
